Erv's Original Intro

A lot of Erv's earlier research can be found on Pat's World F-106 Delta Dart. Erville G. Smalley served in the USAF from 1959 - 1979 as an F-106 Avionics (MA-1) technician and served at Kincheloe AFB MI from 1960 until the 438th FIS moved to Griffiss AFB NY in 1968 and became the 49th FIS. Erv left Griffiss in Jan 1972 for Ubon Thailand and returned to HQ/Air Defense Command (ADC) Colorado Springs CO in May 1973 and served on the Logistics Staff (LGMWA) until his retirement as a SMSGT in Sept 1979

Erv had lost all contact with his F-106 friends after his retirement until he purchased a computer in 1998 and started searching the web for F-106 information. He didn't find much on the web until running across Pat McGee's site above. With the help of several friends, we teamed up with Pat to gather information for his website. We continued gathering information for Pat's World until 1999 when Erv started this website of his own. Since then, the following sites have been built:

Update 27 Mar 2012With Erv's passing in 2011 maintenance and upkeep of all his sites continue under the care of Patrick McGee owner of Pat's World F-106 Delta Dart and F-106 Delta Dart Forums. Erv's legacy will continue with this and all his websites he dedicated to the history and memory of our F-106 Delta Dart, The Ultimate Interceptor. And with that, Erv Smalley also will forever remain in our memory.
